3 point WW cookies

So I may have gained a little weight in 2024. Like the most I have ever weighed. Ever.

I decided 2025 would be the year to get back to a healthy weight and I decided to give Weight Watchers app a try. Game changer!

This has been eye opening on what ingredients are really tanking my weight even on those days I THINK I am eating healthy. Combining this with a 90% clean eating diet has me down 15 pounds in 6 weeks so far.

But ya’ll…the monotony of what I am eating is real. So here I go getting creative with my weight watcher points.

Now, depending on the ingredients you use (and which weight watchers plan you are doing) the points WILL vary. BUT for the cookies I made and on the blue plan, it is at only 3 points for one cookie.

Now, if you aren’t excited about this, let me explain – most typical cookies are 12 points and up for ONE cookie. And they have almost zero nutritional value. So let’s be excited for 3 points 😀

Here are some of the items I personally used in this recipe and LOVE to have on hand:

Course: Appetizer, Breakfast, Snack
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes
Servings: 12

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Old-fashioned oats or quick oats, either will work
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup mashed ripe banana (about 2-3 medium)
  • 1/2 cup Sugar-free almond butter or nut butter of your choice
  • 1 tbsp raw honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line half sheet baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone mat.
  • Mix oats, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon together in a bowl.
  • Add remaining ingredients and stir with a wooden spoon (or similar) until well combined, working all ingredients throughout.
  • Drop about 1/4 cup of dough at a time onto a baking sheet. This recipe should fit 12 perfectly onto one half sheet.
  • Shape cookies - they will not poof or flatten during cooking so shape how you want them.
  • Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool. Cookies will be extra fragile when warm so be careful when moving them to a plate.
